How do I book Rosalba and the Zahira Dancers for my event?

Call us directly or make an inquiry through our website. We will get back to you within 24 hours of your initial inquiry. Please have as much information about your event such as location, date, type of event, and time you want the show. The official booking will involve a contract and the client submitting a deposit.

How long is the show?

A standard show is about 30 minutes. We can do longer or shorter shows based on client’s requests. In a typical solo or group show our dancers will use wings, veils, canes, swords, zills, shamadan (upon request) and dancing with guests.

There are so many belly dance companies in Los Angeles, why should I choose you over the other ones?

There are many things that have made us unique and successful in this industry. We have learned that taking the time to listen to our clients is the key to designing a successful performance. We are not a “one show fits all events” type of company. Our dancers are carefully selected to meet high technical and professional standards. Our music, costuming, choreography and props are carefully selected in order to bring you a mesmerizing experience. We are happy to share that we receive a high volume of bookings through previous clients and referrals.

Can I see you or your company dance in person before I make a final decision?

Yes, we understand that you want to see ‘what you are getting’. We have various updated videos on our website for reference. We can also make arrangements for you to attend a company rehearsal or a public performance.

Can I choose the dancers I want for my show?

If you want a specific dancer or dancers for your event you must communicate that from the beginning. We will do our best to book the dancers of your preference based on their availability.

This is a family event and there will be children, not sure if a belly dance show would be appropriate?

Our shows are classy, artistic and family-oriented. Children usually love to watch our performances and very often join us on the dance floor.

What about the music?

We will provide a CD with the music to be used for the show and the client or venue provides the sound system. If the sound system will not have CD capacity we can also bring an IPod, Mp3 player or the music can be submitted to your DJ beforehand.

Can I request a specific song?

Yes, a specific song can be used for your event, but it must be made at least 4 weeks prior to your event. We are constantly working on various projects so choreographing a song per your request will take some time.

Is tipping appropriate?

Yes. The dancer will accept tips unless the host has requested otherwise. Tips may be tucked into the dancer’s belt, or thrown above her head as a “money shower” or just added to the payment at the end of the show.

How far in advance should I make the booking?

It is advised that you book a show at least 3-4 weeks in advance. However, we will do our best to fit in last minute requests.
